Divergence Wines is a boutique Niagara winery crafting precise, authentic, and small-lot wines that celebrate the nuance of cool-climate terroir. Founded by Jeff Moote, a former chemical-process engineer turned winemaker, Divergence embodies a “different path” ethos — blending technical mastery with artistic intuition. After training at Brock University’s Cool Climate Oenology & Viticulture Institute and working with acclaimed Niagara producers like Fielding, Creekside, and Trius, Moote launched Divergence to pursue uncompromising quality and expression. From traditional-method sparkling to distinctive still wines, each bottle reflects a meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to letting the vineyard speak.
