Led by Jeff Moote, Divergence is one of Canada’s most promising new wineries, already earning critical acclaim and a cult following. As a chemical engineer by training, his precision and attention to detail as an engineer carries into his winemaking, where he prioritizes quality over quantity.
His wines are known for their emphasis on precision, authenticity, and texture, reflecting the best of Niagara’s terroir. While Divergence initially focused on sparkling wines, the portfolio has since expanded to include a variety of still wines that showcase a distinctive approach to traditional styles. Moote's winemaking ethos embraces the idea of creating wines that are both intellectually engaging and accessible.
