Read About the Summer Wines

  • Summerhill NV Cipes Brut, Canada

    Producer: Summerhill Pyramid Winery

    Region: Summerhill BC, Canada

Grape: 70% Riesling, 20% Pinot Blanc, 10% Chardonnay

Awards: 90 Pts and Silver medal in Wine Align's National Wine Awards of Canada 2021. This wine also won 92 Pts by Beppi Crosariol, 91 Pts by Globe & Mail’s John Schreiner

Tasting Notes: On the nose, Honeycrisp apple, white flowers and lime zest. The palate is fresh and vibrant with juicy green apple, pear, lemon meringue and a hint of toasted brioche.

  • Madame Veuve Point Chablis, France

    Producer: Madame Veuve Point

    Region: Burgundy, France

    Grape: Chardonnay

Tasting Notes: “Pale lemon-gold colour and lively nose. On the palate, the wine is fruit-driven with a well-balanced acidity and a refreshing minerality: lime, lemon, flint, with a touch of white blossom. The finish is elegant, with a smooth texture,” - Vintage Imports

  • Maison Saint AIX Rosé, France

    Producer: Maison Saint AIX

    Region: Provence, France

Grape: Blend of Cinsault, Grenache, and Syrah

Tasting Notes: AIX is a well-balanced premium Provence rosé with a typical hypnotising salmon pink colour. The nose is fresh and fragrant, delicate yet youthful with sophisticated notes of fresh red fruits, peach and subtle flower hints. It offers roundness on the palate and a beautiful aromatic depth, before finding freshness and some minerality in its long and precise finish. Made with love, passion and pride, AIX Rosé is elegant, generous and delicious - with the power to make any moment of the day feel effortless. Perfect on its own or with salmon, lobster, light salads, and grilled chicken.

  • Miro 2021 Cuvee Sasha, USA

    Producer: Miro Cellars

    Region: California, USA

    Grape: 78% Grenache, 22% Syrah

Tasting Notes: A bigger red, this Grenache is full of inviting aromas of jammy strawberries, dry cherries, plums, and cranberry, with a hint of dry rose petals and Potpourri that makes you smell the wine over and over again. The mouthfeel is clean, fresh, and lively without any heaviness. The acidity is focused and food-friendly. Cuvée Sasha is always an intriguing combination of soft and intense. The food pairings for this wine are endless, but this wine goes particularly well with grilled red meats.

  • Lagala Maddalena Rosso, Italy

    Producer: Lagala

    Region: Basilicata, Italy

    Grape: Aglianico

    Awards: 92 Pts Luca Maroni

Tasting Notes: Aglianico is often referred to as “the Barolo of the South.” It’s an apt description, as both tend to be highly structured, long lived wines that offer stunning complexity. Great Aglianico also tends to be rather pricey, which is why we were so pleased to find this. It’s a great introduction to the grape that doesn’t break the bank. “Intense ruby color…hints of red berries, cherry and bitter almond. Elegant and fresh on the palate, with excellent structure.” – Luca Maroni

  • Domaine d'Argenson Cuvée Première Côte de Brouilly Cru, France

    Producer: Domaine d'Argenson

    Region: Beaujolais, France

    Grape: Gamay

Tasting Notes: “This is an impressive Cote de Brouilly…with deep red-berry fruit and dry forest-floor character. Structured and elegant with lively acidity, the power growing as it flows over the palate. Long, mineral finish with excellent tension. Still youthful.” – James Suckling
