BLANC DE BLANCS (100% CHARDONNAY) GRAND CRU

CHAMPAGNE, FRANCE

The vineyard of Le Mesnil Sur Oger has a truly excellent terroir, 100% of its vineyards are ranked as “Grand Cru”. The vineyard is situated at the heart of the prestigious “Côte des Blancs”, so-called because of the omnipresence of the superb Chardonnay. The white wine made from this grape, with its white skin and flesh is the reason why the appellation is known as the “Blanc de Blancs”. The quality of the vineyards comes from the fact that they are east-facing. With vineyard topsoil over a base layer of chalk, the vineyards have excellent hydric qualities thus allowing the chardonnay grape to reach its full potential.

A brilliant Blanc de Blancs that offers incredible richness, along with tangy acidity. There's notes of brioche, almond, lemon meringue and Golden Delicious apples. The texture is creamy and the bubbles are very persistent. It's a wonderful Champagne from one of the top cooperatives in the region.

100% CHARDONNAY

WILLAMETTE VALLEY, OR, USA

A stunning Chardonnay that rich but laser focused. Initially the wine is all peaches and apricots but that's followed up with notes of baking spice and honey. On the finish the acidity really kicks in and there's notes of lime zest and pink grapefruit.

Decanter Magazine calls this wine spectacular" and it really is. If you are a fan of Provence style rose, then you are going to love this. Incredibly intense, with notes of strawberry, watermelon and lemon Jolly Rancher cascading over the palate. On the finish there's hints of minerals and lime. It's very refreshing and food friendly.

80% TEMPRANILLO, 10% GARNACHA

RIOJA, SPAIN

A phenomenal wine that shows an impressive range of flavours and aromas. Notes of Rainier cherries lead the way but that's followed by blueberry jam and hints of cocoa powder. The earthiness of the wine is what really sets this apart. There's loads of fresh herbs, hints of mushrooms and the classic whiff of tobacco smoke that's so common to great Rioja. The texture is soft and the wine is ready to enjoy now, although for those who are so inclined, it will easily cellar for 5+ years.

“Dry and full-bodied, the wine is fragrant with strawberry jam, dried fruits, white pepper and dark spices concentrated and vibrant on the palate. Tannins are fine-grained and structured. Fermentation was in stainless-steel tanks followed by full malo conversion and spending up to three months on its lees in French oak barrels. “ - Natalie Maclean

SANGIOVESE BLEND

TUSCANY, ITALY

Intense, with a stunning array of flavours and aromas. This is Sangiovese as it should be and this is better than most Brunellos in its price range. The flavours seem to come in waves with this wine. First there's cherries and dried blackberries, then notes of orange peel, walnuts and cigar box. There's plenty of tannins but they are refined and don't get in the way of immediate enjoyment. That being said, this wine definitely benefits from an hour or two in the decanter before consumption.

A firm, layered and well-structured red with aromas of dried leaves, charred bark, dried blueberries, cherries, tobacco, orange peel and peach pits. Complex and delicious with vibrant fruit. From organically grown grapes.

85% CORVINA, 10% RONDINELLA, 5% CROATINA

VENETO, ITALY

This is a great example of classic Amarone. The rich, dried fruit flavours lead the way and the there's also notes of chocolate and espresso on the mid-palate. This is a big, bold wine but the ample acidity keeps it balanced and brings you back for another sip.
