Our first wine which can be found in both the Somm Selects and Reds bundles takes us to the right bank of Bordeaux in France. Château La Gasquerie is an excellent example of the notably warm 2022 vintage in Bordeaux, which produced concentrated, fruit-forward and approachable wines. This Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon blend offers a deep ruby hue and a classic bouquet of earthy black currant, spice and mint. Its mouthfeel is plush and velvety, with perfectly ripe plum and smoky blackberry fruit supported by broad tannins.
