“As an Edmontonian myself, with an existing soft spot for all Fairmont properties, I have to recommend The MacDonald. The location along the River Valley is beautiful, the back terrace (in the summer and fall) is such a great place to spend time with family, friends and colleagues. The views are beautiful. They also do a really great high tea and brunch. While downtown Edmonton needs some revitalizing (which is in the works), be sure to go to Uccellino for dinner. It’s a short Uber or taxi ride (maybe 5 minutes from the hotel), or an easy walk if you’re up for it. It’s a fantastic Italian restaurant that is helping to take the city’s culinary scene to a whole new level. ”
