March 10th - Grüner Veltliner & Austria

Location: 1247 Dundas West, Grape Witches Private Salon

Grüner Veltliner, a much loved varietal that remains largely unknown to even many fine wine connoisseurs. Grüner is the flag bearer for the greater Austrian Wine Community and this session will introduce you to the many faces of the varietal. As one of Christopher’s favorite wines, Grüner playfully crosses into both the worlds of fine wine and low-intervention wine.

March 24th - Nebbiolo & Northern Italy

Time: 6:30pm
Location: 1247 Dundas West, Grape Witches Private Salon

Nebbiolo of Piemonte, North Italy is one of Italy’s greatest gifts to the wine world. Wines tailored with precision for elegance, nuance and longevity. From Barolo to Barbaresco to Roero to the Langhe Nebbiolo DOC, comparisons to Burgundy abound in the sensual possibilities with the wines of Nebbiolo. The wines are very different but can sit at the table in harmony.

April 29th -  Gamay | Beaujolais

Time: 6:30pm
Location: 1247 Dundas West, Grape Witches Private Salon

Gamay! The Wine of the People! Beaujolais is not Nouveau. Top tier wines have been around for some time. and many a Pinot Noir Lover have been seduced by the quality of good Beaujolais. Come taste, talk and learn about Gamay!
