Wellington Gastropub | Record Club: Talking Heads
$50
Jun 9 2026 · 6:30 p.m. EDT · Ottawa
About the evening
Step into the White Room at Wellington Gastropub for one of Ottawa’s hardest tickets to come by.
This Record Club session is dedicated to the Talking Heads, featuring Remain in Lights and Speaking in Tongues, played in full from start to finish. With phones away and a small group in the room, it’s a chance to slow down and actually listen.
Very limited seating.
Lights down, phones away
In the White Room, music comes first. This is not a concert, and not a typical night out; it’s a dedicated listening session where a small group gathers to experience an album in full, without interruption.
Each record is played start to finish through high-fidelity sound, so every detail, pause, and moment of silence can actually be heard. It’s a slower, more intentional way to engage with music, shared in a quiet, communal setting.
What’s included
Snacks and small bites.
Local craft beer
