On August 24th, Nui welcomes Chef Jefferson Alvarez for a one-night collaborative dinner with chefs JJ Hwang and Kyle McIntosh, bringing together the bold flavours of Latin cuisine with Nui’s contemporary approach to Korean cooking.
Born in Venezuela and raised in Canada, Alvarez has built a career shaped by curiosity and international experience, with time spent in celebrated kitchens including Central in Peru, Arzak and El Poblet Quique Dacosta in Spain, Morimoto in Philadelphia and Canoe in Toronto. Today, his cooking is rooted in Latin flavours, seasonality and a distinctly creative, sensory approach.
At Nui, that perspective meets Hwang and McIntosh’s cooking, grounded in Korean flavours and the depth of fermentation, spice and comfort.
Together, the three chefs will create a five-course menu exploring the unexpected connections between their culinary traditions, from heat and acidity to fermentation and preservation, all through the depth, spice and comfort that define the cooking at Nui.

$135 per person plus tax, inclusive of 20% gratuity . Gratuity is shared across the Chefs and teams.

Beverages. Event-exclusive cocktails, as well as wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages, will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
